My first gig

Just this past Monday I had my first gig playing my guitar for worship at my youth group. It was a pretty scary thing to think about before but when I actually got up there it was great!!!! Thankfully, I got a new friend that wants to join me this upcoming week! Im super excited and we had a meeting just last night about what we wanted to do! Wish us luck on are next performance!

My Christmas present

After waiting for what felt like forever I finally got a electric guitar for Christmas! I REALLY like it and use it everyday. I don't have a amp for it yet but I will definitely have one soon. All my dad cares is that it  can have headphones! Im really looking forward to trying it out on a amp and until then I will just keep improving my skills!

ALDI?

My mom told me this past week that there was a electric guitar for sale at ALDI. I was thinking isn't AlDI a grocery store (it is). My mom just told me sometimes they just sell random things. This random thing happend to be just the thing I was looking for. It's a yellow Silverstone that comes with a decent size amp and a couple other accessories. The best part is that it's only $80! Not a bad deal! I plan to CONSIDER purchase sometime soon so I can start my new guitar collection!!!!!!

My New Dresser

This past week I had my Aunt Dana call me a couple of times for some music that I would like to play on  my guitar. I just thought that they were maybe going to print out some music for me and bring it down this weekend when I was gone. I was totally mind-blown to come home and see this totally new dresser sitting in my room. AWSOME! Now I actually have room for all my clothes!

My death sentence

Just the other day one of my old teachers came up to me at church and asked me if it was true that I played the guitar? Without thinking I quickly replied and said yes! This was a mistake. It just happens that this old teacher is in charge of all the church musicals, plays, and a lot of the special music. Now I'm in for a treat later this year! Oh, did I also forget to mention that this teacher is one of those people who you can never say no to. I guess thats what I get for being honest!
